This year Meadow Herbs is running a series of one-day courses focusing on identifying local wild plants, making simple herbal remedies and understanding how and when to use these for yourself, family and friends.
Get to know your herbs through creating your own remedies, learning through tasting, smelling and identifying herbs and their medical qualities. The three workshops are designed to show how you can use simple herbs from the kitchen, garden and hedgerow to make safe and effective remedies for you, your family and friends. The individual workshops can stand alone if you would like to attend on one specific date, with manuals available for each session. Exploring a variety of herbs and remedies through a mixture of discussion and hands-on application, the individual workshops build a working guide to help you develop your understanding, knowledge and use of these wonderful plants. We understand the difficulties of committing specific time to all three days, so the manuals will be available for any days you are unable to attend but would still like the notes for.
Each workshop this year will again be £55 and will run from 10am to 4pm at Meadow Cottage clinic in Brooke.
Notes will be provided and samples created throughout the workshop will be included in the price of the workshop. A basic vegetarian lunch is included along with refreshments throughout the day (please let us know of any specific dietary requirements).
If you are unable to attend all individual days but would still like the step by step guides to each session these can be purchased for £10 (including postage and packaging).
Please get in contact with us if there is something you’d specifically like to see us put on as we always welcome your feedback.
